Theme:Experiencing Networks That Influence the World

2010-09-09 Thursday Beijing China

2010-09-14 Tuesday Shanghai China

2010-09-16 Thursday Guangzhou China

Event Overview:

The world tide is irresistible with rider of this tide emerging victorious and others striving for their survival. The evolution of the network industry has expanded from application demands of an enterprise or a department to those of a country, or even a basic strategy for the globalization process. Daily works and lives of human have been even more dependent on networks.

Like the slogan of the Shanghai World Expo in 2010 – “Better City, Better Life”, networks are changing the way everyone is experiencing and integrating into the world. Although the world is experiencing a global economic crisis, new network technologies just keep emerging.

Cloud computing was born under the concept of traditional infrastructure hosting and SaaS. In the world of datacenters today, cloud computing has comprehensively integrated servers and storage, and is evolving toward a cloud of the entire network, followed by cloud networks, cloud security and cloud services, as well as cloud datacenters in the future.

Virtualization. In the real-world, applications carried by a datacenter are increasing in accordance with the Moore Law, resulting in an ever increasing number of devices and loads on the datacenter. Virtualization seems to be holding the key for solving this fatal dilemma.

Internet of things – maybe this emerging industry based on sensor network technologies and high-speed wireless broadband technologies will be a turning point for our lives to go beyond digitization to networked and virtualized reality.

Mobile Internet – the emergence of Internet has shown that network connections will definitely replace the legacy of ATM, while computers fixed to their desktops still constitute of the last barrier for the development of network flexibility. Power lines and network cables, once indispensable blood arteries for the life of Internet, have now become chains against flexibilities. Therefore, mobile Internet will become the theme for future development, and the applications of smart phones, tablet PCs, e-reading, 4th screen or even the Nth screen will all direct the future development of technologies.

China NetworkWorld has been recognized as an authoritative and professional media in the network industry in China. With years of development and build-up, it has established itself a dissemination system with plural integrated media. Holding on to the principle of leading technological advancements and inspiring network developments, its core value remains unchanged since its inception. On the basis of publishing a good newspaper, China NetworkWorld has been evolving through time to create a great brand for conferences and expos in the world of networks with its years of accumulation of technologies and market advantages.

For years, the Network World conference has been leading the way for cutting-edge technologies, products, applications and sharing of experiences in the network industry. Established in 2002, the Ethernet World Conference has been recognized as a professional event with the largest scale, highest level and strongest influence in the network industry in China.

Sticking to the heritage of being “professional, proactive and open”, the whole-new Network World conference and expo will continue to play a crucial role in guiding the Ethernet market in China.

The conference focuses on professionalism and proactive thinking in the contents and style of the conference. Theme speakers are top scholars in the world of networks from around the globe, who will be directing the evolution of technologies and dwelling on the development and application trends of the network industry. Our theme lectures are designed for discussions on the latest network technologies, products and applications.

The conference participants are made up of professionals from the technical, research and development, management, decision-making and network application promotion areas of the network and communications industries. In each conference, the number of
participants all exceed 1,000, covering the entire network industry and representing an accurate master of the development trend in the network industry and introducing features of technological and product upgrading paths.
